The Rich Brown Signature Miezo.
Rich is an incredibly versatile artist: bassist, composer, producer, bandleader, educator and clinician, broadcaster, voice over artist. He has released three albums as a leader - among them, the critically acclaimed album of solo bass compositions 'Between Heaviness & Here’ and the Juno Award 2016 nominated album, 'Abeng.'
Rich has shared both stage and recording studio with a wide variety of artists ranging from Jazz to traditional Arabic and Asian music. He leads two groups—rinsethealgorithm and The Abeng .
He teaches at Scott's Bass Lessons, Humber College, The University of Toronto, and he was a regular contributor to Bass Player Magazine and No Treble. You can hear Rich every Tuesday night at 10pm (EST) as the host of his own show 'New Origins' on JazzFM91.

Rich's Miezo is something we wanted to make for quite some time. A larger, deeper, semi-hollow construction that fully showcases the singing voice of the Miezo, adding resonance to its crystal clear tone. All that, in the 18" scale size we've come to love.
The Miezo 18"/6 RB comes with two Bartolini DC p-ups, Aguilar OBP3 preamp, ebony board. Rich's own is made of Tiger Renghas. You can choose a different wood if you want to personalize the tone.
